Here I am again with an in-studio show with the Dysfunctional SuperFamily as promised. April 22nd marked the 10th anniversary of the Dysfunctional SuperFamily's first time ever setting foot in a Disney park. Because of this, the Dysfunctional SuperFamily has a roundtable discussion reminiscing and discussing memories of past Walt Disney World trips. Each member of the Dysfunctional SuperFamily compiled a list of their personal favorite memories and did not discuss them before recording, which made for a great show. This show is part 1 of 2. Part 2 will most likely release after another park audio-based show.

A little late, but this one's finally out. In this show we start out with a quick piece of audio from Busch Gardens Williamsburg that I took a few weeks ago. We go on the Big Bad Wolf roller coaster with Shannon from the Magic Never Ends podcast. After that we head to Germany at World Showcase for one of the Dysfunctional SuperFamily's favorite gift shops. We finish the show out with a hurried-feeling piece 10 minutes to park closing for one last ride on Soarin'.

I'm 5 days late. Sorry guys. According to Chris from the Big D vidcast I have commitment problems...go figure. You will most likely be getting two shows this week to make up for it.
This show will be very different. We will not be going into the parks but instead have a roundtable discussion with the Dysfunctional SuperFamily? What's the topic you ask? Well, as any Dysfunctional SuperFamily would, we will be critiquing the bathrooms in Walt Disney World. This show is part one of two. Ep 21: First-Time Adventures on Refurbed Attractions

Hi again everyone!

On this show, we will be taking two adventures on refurbished attractions for my first time:

First, we will be going to the Magic Kingdom to ride the new Haunted Mansion. The new additions to this ride are AMAZING. Listen to the Teenage Disney Geek ride this excellent attraction with Shannon from the Magic Never Ends podcast.

Next, we'll be hopping over to Epcot to view the new Martin Short version of the O, Canada film. Listen to the LFFG's (Lightning Fast Fat Guy, aka. my dad) crazy commentary on this film while the Dysfunctional SuperFamily and Mickey9170's family experience this for the first time.

On Haunted Mansion I stayed spoiler free, but I will admit I did not on the O, Canada film. Keep that in the back of your mind while listening.

Hi guys,
This show is sort of a mini-tribute for the recent name change of the Disney-MGM Studios to the Disney's Hollywood Studios. I think that this name change is sort of the end of an era for the studios and I explain why on the show. The audio that is presented is a piece with the Dysfunctional SuperFamily on the one of the original Disney-MGM Studios attractions, the Great Movie Ride. Beforehand, I..um..explore a little bit around the area of the Brown Derby and then we head into the attraction. I left the audio from the queue in just because I feel like the queue for the ride is a large part of the experience on this attraction. Thanks to Brian Sommer for the request for the park audio.

Ep 18: Adventures on a Steamship in the Real New Orleans Square

WOOHOO! I'm releasing on schedule! (Yes Will, I used a Magic Never Ends phrase, I'm allowed to since I released my episode 18 before yours. BOOYA! or should I say YAHTZEE!)

With that out of the way, here's the show description for this week's show:

We start out with a short piece from Matsuriza, those cool drummers at the pagoda in the Japan pavilion at World Showcase.

We then move onto the feature segment from the Natchez dinner cruise in New Orleans. This was an authentic steamboat down the Mississippi River complete with a jazz band on the middle floor. I cut up segments of the very long ride, but what you will hear is:
-My friends and I exploring the engine room and the mechanics of the ship
-Hanging out on the bottom deck near the extremely large (and extremly cool!) ship propeller
-Listening to the jazz band on the middle floor
-Hanging out and taking goofy pictures on the top deck and going down to watch a brief number from the jazz band to conclude the night

To me this experience was the Liberty Belle riverboat times 10. It was great to explore and take in the sights as we cruised down the Mississippi. It was a great night and I hope that you can enjoy it as much as I did.

Well, I got back from my first trip to WDW at Holiday time and I have to say that it was an absolute blast. It was a completely new experience. I rode about 10 rides the entire trip and this was still one of the best experiences at Walt Disney World that I have ever had.

In this show you will hear they Dysfunctional SuperFamily, the Magic Never Ends crew, and our friend Kristen and her family go on the new Spaceship Earth. We weren't sure if we would be able to get on but we lucked out on a soft opening. You can hear our impressions of it after the ride.

After that, we go to the Disney-MGM Studios to listen to the Harlem Gospel Choir. This is an amazing group and a great addition to the already huge lineup of things to do at Walt Disney World for the holidays.

This show is *live* which means that it is raw and taken as directly from the original recording as possible. The only editing I did was a little bit of compression and putting the two audio pieces together.

This show is the day two show for my weekend trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. On this show, hear Jay, Pat, Zach, my dad, my sister, and me go on rides like:

-The Griffon- a floorless coaster with a 90 degree invert and the newest ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

-Curse of DarKastle..or DarK astle..however you want to say it- a 3D simulator similar to Spiderman at Islands of Adventure that runs on an indoor track

-The Da Vinci section in Italy- A section of the park with carnival-type rides based on the inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci

-Corkscrew Hill- An extremely odd simulator in the Ireland land

Wow! I'm releasing a show in just a little over a week from the release of my last show! Amazing! I'm absolutely loving having free time!

This show I take a request from Captain Barbossa from the Disney Podcast Network and we ride Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, we go to Tower of Terror for a walkthrough that I am very happy with. There was almost nobody in line and I didn't even have to cut anything out in the queue because we walked right on the ride.

For the final piece, I feature something just a little different. I won't give it away, but don't those saxophones sound amazing? I heard that one kid is a pretty amazing player.

Well hello there! I am back after a long absence. Life has just been getting in my way lately and I have not been able to release regularly and will not be releasing regularly for a while. This week is part 2 of 2 of my adventures at the Pirate and Princess Party. I hesitate to call this a live show because I was forced to cut out several parts of the piece. This show you will once again join the Dysfunctional SuperFamily, Wackey~Jackey from the DPN forums, and Will and Shannon from the Magic Never Ends podcast as we go to see the Magic, Music, and Mayhem fireworks show- best fireworks EVER! After the fireworks I play a piece from closing time. The dysfunctional SuperFamily is so slow that it takes us an hour to walk from Toontown out of the park. Enjoy as we take our sweet little time walking out of the park and have a fun, crazy time with Will and Shannon.

Show #3: Adventures with barf and a big ball

This week we start out by going for a spin on the Mad Tea Party. After listening to the obnoxiousness that occurs on the Mad Tea Party, we hop over to Epcot and take a relaxing ride on Spaceship Earth. This would be the last time I experienced the ride before Disney makes the significant changes to it, so I wanted to ride it one last time. After Spaceship Earth, I separate from the family and experience the new Project Tomorrow post-show for the first time. That part of the trip is a pleasure to listen to because, who better to test out the new exhibits in the post-show than a member of the audience that the post-show was intended for? This show is a great mix of rowdy and relaxing.

Show #2: Adventures in Tomorrowland

I'm a little late releasing this week-sorry! I've been taking a summer school course and midterm preparation took more out of me than I expected.

As promised, we have a longer show this week. This one runs at about a half an hour. First, we will take a ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, where my sister and I got just a little crazy. After we take our ride on the TTA, we head over across from the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway and have an encounter with Push the Trashcan. One thing that I didn't mention in the show- I was wearing a shirt that had a "Hang Loose" symbol on it. That is what Push's comment about "hanging loose" was about.

A few things I didn't mention in the show-

-In the show I mentioned Mattie was being the more obnoxious one on the TTA. Okay, you got me. It was mostly me.
