This show we head into Magic Kingdom for a morning run to 3 different attractions. We start trying to make rope drop (we were unsuccessful) but then head into Tomorrowland and ride two rides that had really short lines thanks to the light morning crowds. We then head to Fantasyland to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Those who love pieces that feature Mrs. Buckethead, there's plenty of her silliness to go around in this episode! To conclude the episode, we hear some more AMAZING saxophone playing by an alto saxophonist named Chien Kwan Lin. If you think last week was good, this piece will blow you away.

After that we head to Epcot to see Illuminations. This is a great recording and headphones are highly recommended. Mrs. Buckethead was watching the show with me- and we both express our amazement that only Disney can bring us. (A little note here..right before Illuminations starts there's one dude who was talking who sounds a whole lot like the Trapped on Vacation "You Guys Havin' Fun?!" guy. Is this just me?)

The next show will not release on Wednesday next week as I will be in Walt Disney World. You can expect another show soon after next Wednesday, however.

I found time to get one more show together before I left for my Walt Disney World trip. This show we will be going to Epcot's Future World. We start out by listening to a performance by the Jammitors. We then walk across to the other side of Future World and take a very interesting ride on Test Track. Hi guys,
This show is sort of a mini-tribute for the recent name change of the Disney-MGM Studios to the Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I think that this name change is sort of the end of an era for the studios and I explain why on the show.  The audio that is presented is a piece with the Dysfunctional SuperFamily on the one of the original Disney-MGM Studios attractions, the Great Movie Ride.  Beforehand, I..um..explore a little bit around the area of the Brown Derby and then we head into the attraction.  I left the audio from the queue in just because I feel like the queue for the ride is a large part of the experience on this attraction.  Thanks to Brian Sommer for the request for the park audio.

WOOHOO! I'm releasing on schedule! (Yes Will, I used a Magic Never Ends phrase, I'm allowed to since I released my episode 18 before yours. BOOYA! or should I say YAHTZEE!)

With that out of the way, here's the show description for this week's show:

We start out with a short piece from Matsuriza, those cool drummers at the pagoda in the Japan pavilion at World Showcase.

We then move onto the feature segment from the Natchez dinner cruise in New Orleans.  This was an authentic steamboat down the Mississippi River complete with a jazz band on the middle floor.  I cut up segments of the very long ride, but what you will hear is:
-My friends and I exploring the engine room and the mechanics of the ship
-Hanging out on the bottom deck near the extremely large (and extremly cool!) ship propeller
-Listening to the jazz band on the middle floor
-Hanging out and taking goofy pictures on the top deck and going down to watch a brief number from the jazz band to conclude the night

To me this experience was the Liberty Belle riverboat times 10.  It was great to explore and take in the sights as we cruised down the Mississippi. It was a great night and I hope that you can enjoy it as much as I did.

Afterwards, we have a longer audio piece from my recent trip with the marching band to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. Listen to my friends and me take in the sights and sounds of this great city at night.

Well, I got back from my first trip to WDW at Holiday time and I have to say that it was an absolute blast. It was a completely new experience. I rode about 10 rides the entire trip and this was still one of the best experiences at Walt Disney World that I have ever had.

In this show you will hear they Dysfunctional SuperFamily, the Magic Never Ends crew, and our friend Kristen and her family go on the new Spaceship Earth. We weren't sure if we would be able to get on but we lucked out on a soft opening. You can hear our impressions of it after the ride.

After that, we go to the Disney-MGM Studios to listen to the Harlem Gospel Choir. This is an amazing group and a great addition to the already huge lineup of things to do at Walt Disney World for the holidays.

This show is *live* which means that it is raw and taken as directly from the original recording as possible. The only editing I did was a little bit of compression and putting the two audio pieces together.

Hello everyone!

Well, despite my REALLY busy schedule the past few weeks, I was able to get a show together. In this show I discuss how much I am looking forward to meeting up with some amazing friends on my Walt Disney World, Will and Shannon from the Magic Never Ends podcast.  To prepare to meet up with them, the audio piece that is presented is the first night that the Magic Never Ends crew and the Dysfunctional SuperFamily met up individually.  You still hear plenty of small talk and getting to know each other as this was the first occasion we had plenty of time to talk to have fun with them family-to-family.

Woot! Released a podcast in less than a month AGAIN! Go me! Although, eight days apart seems to be my schedule, doesn't it...?

This show is the day two show for my weekend trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. On this show, hear Jay, Pat, Zach, my dad, my sister, and me go on rides like:

-The Griffon- a floorless coaster with a 90 degree invert and the newest ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

-Curse of DarKastle..or DarK astle..however you want to say it- a 3D simulator similar to Spiderman at Islands of Adventure that runs on an indoor track

-The Da Vinci section in Italy- A section of the park with carnival-type rides based on the inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci

-Corkscrew Hill- An extremely odd simulator in the Ireland land

This show I take a request from Captain Barbossa from the Disney Podcast Network and we ride Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, we go to Tower of Terror for a walkthrough that I am very happy with.  There was almost nobody in line and I didn't even have to cut anything out in the queue because we walked right on the ride. 

For the final piece, I feature something just a little different.  I won't give it away, but don't those saxophones sound amazing? I heard that one kid is a pretty amazing player.

This show covers the August 11th DPN mini-meet. After Spaceship Earth, I separate from the family and experience the new Project Tomorrow post-show for the first time. That part of the trip is a pleasure to listen to because, who better to test out the new exhibits in the post-show than a member of the audience that the post-show was intended for? This show is a great mix of rowdy and relaxing.

As promised, we have a longer show this week. This one runs at about a half an hour.  First, we will take a ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, where my sister and I got just a little crazy. After we take our ride on the TTA, we head over across from the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway and have an encounter with Push the Trashcan. One thing that I didn't mention in the show- I was wearing a shirt that had a "Hang Loose" symbol on it.  That is what Push's comment about "hanging loose" was about.

A few things I didn't mention in the show-

-In the show I mentioned Mattie was being the more obnoxious one on the TTA.  Okay, you got me.  It was mostly me.
